Hello Roommates!
I await this Sunday with eager anticipation. Continuing our Jeremiah series, Daphne Marsden will be speaking on encouraging hope in the people God brings our way.
Daphne is the manager of Project Esther, a community ministry of Southwest Baptist Church. She works a lot with at risk women who have just been released from prison.
Therefore, for our intercession this week, I would love us to pray for Project Esther and for at-risk women in our community.

…for inmates at Christchurch Women’s Prison
- for God’s redemptive and restorative work
- for healed relationships
- for support and comfort to isolation and loneliness
…for Te Whare Atawhai (emergency support accommodation) and inmate reintegration back into community
- for acceptance and belonging
- reconciliation
- and support networks to help at-risk women
…for Project Esther
- for staff to be strengthened and encouraged
- for programmes to be well supported and funded
- for God to be speak in the various relationships built.
