Why do we have denominations in the Church?

Graham Norton Red ChairThis Sunday at the Living Room we have an exciting panel discussion on Christian unity and diversity, particularly in the Christchurch context. We have a top notch panel:

  • Rev. Spanky Moore, whom you may know as the Salt&Light guy, the university chaplain, a radio DJ or all of the above.
  • Chris Hannen, who is the Director at the Laidlaw Christchurch Campus. He attends Life Church.
  • Rev. Chris Chamberlain of Oxford Terrace Baptist. Chris loves Fiats. Good man.
  • Rev. Anne Stewart, who is one of the ministers at the Village Presbyterian in Bryndwr/Papanui.
  • And Tim Malone, who is the Catholic Young Adults’ Coordinator in Christchurch.

We are opening up the chance for people to submit their own questions prior to the evening and during the service itself.

If you’d like to submit a question beforehand, comment below.

On the evening, we will set up a hashtag: #presbyanglicostal . We will be vetting the questions in real time as the conversation warms up!

Alternatively, we will have pens and paper for the less technologically inclined! But if that’s you, you’re probably not reading this!

See you Sunday!

p.s. we will likely have way more questions than we have time for, so please don’t be insulted if your question doesn’t get asked!
